Bill Hanney's award winning Theatre By The Sea (TBTS) is set to make its own kind of music with BEEHIVE The '60s Musical, the ultimate celebration of 1960's female empowerment. Performances begin Wednesday, May 31 and plays thru Sunday, June 18, 2017. Press night is scheduled for Friday, June 2 at 8p.m.

A tribute to the incredible female musicians of the 1960s, Beehive: The 60's Musical 30th Anniversary Tour highlights the best women singers of the mid 20thcentury, from Lesley Gore to Aretha Franklin and Janis Joplin. A musical revue featuring over 40 beloved hits, Beehive takes audiences on a journey through the tumultuous '60s, exploring the change in styles of female musicians from the early part of the decade to the beginning of the 1970s.

Broadway musical licensor TRW (Theatrical Rights Worldwide) has acquired the rights to Beehive: The 60s Musical.

The Flat Rock Playhouse presents the all women cast of Beehive: the 60s Musical. Continuing the fall season, the production will run from 13th October through 30th October at the Clive and Nina Allen Mainstage in the village rock of Flat Rock.

BEEHIVE THE 60's MUSICAL closes out the season for the Repertory Theatre of St. Louis, providing a refreshing and cheery dose of 1960's sunshine, and filling the theatre with the sounds of classic pop tunes from that era. This jukebox musical focuses on the contributions that women made to music during those turbulent times, and features six supremely talented singers who bring these familiar favorites to life while being backed by a superb band. The Rep's current production is a sheer delight, conjuring up memories of days gone by with an energetic cast who may have been too young to have heard these songs the first time around, but who do wonderful work with this material, nonetheless.
