Festival de la Voix returns with live concerts and workshops. Vox Aeterna will celebrate the ninth annual Festival de la Voix, promoting live music, Canadian composers and musicians, and professional and emerging artists in seven eclectic concerts and four exceptional workshops, as well as special presentations for high school music students.

Featuring concerts from March 19 to April 10 in the West Island (venues in Dorval, Beaconsfield, Pointe-Claire and Hudson), as well as workshops, Festival de la Voix brings communities and all ages together to enjoy music and the power of the human voice.

A Juilliard-trained soprano, McDonald maintains a major career as a Grammy-winning recording and concert artist.

The Opera Memphis Handorf Company Artist program will welcome three exciting new talents to Memphis this February. Since the inaugural 2018 roster of young artists completed their tenure, the HCA program has continued to serve as a training program for rising talent from across the country, welcoming a half dozen artists to this impactful, community-oriented program.

Bay Street Theater & Sag Harbor Center for the Arts has announced the three-part workshop, Rediscovering 19th Century Female Voices, led by Ashley Galvani Bell and Anton Armendariz Diaz of Divaria Opera, will begin Wednesday, March 16, from 4 to 5 p.m. via Zoom, and will continue through Wednesday, March 30.

Emmy, Grammy and six-time Tony Award winning Broadway sensation AUDRA MCDONALD will be performing live at the London Palladium with the forty-piece London Musical Theatre Orchestra on Sunday 25 September 2022 at 7.00pm. Alongside Andy Einhorn and the London Musical Theatre Orchestra, Audra will take you through the Great American Songbook and Broadway's greatest hits.

Pour servir d’écrin à cette création mondiale, le compositeur a souhaité faire entendre son quatuor n° 5, également donné pour la première fois, et l’éclatant quintette avec piano de Schumann.

In La Voix Humaine, soprano Patricia Racette is enthralling as she engages with each twist and turn of the score as though it is an emotional punch. She created this role in several cities and in each she has pulled the audience into the immediacy of Elle’s predicament. The 40-minute musical work gives the soprano a wide range for expression.

Verdi’s Il Trovatore can be seen live online on Sunday, October 3 at 2:00 pm or on Wednesday, October 6 at 7:30 pm live streamed directly from the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion. September marks two years since Opera Philadelphia's orchestra, chorus, staff, and principal singers have gathered at the historic Academy of Music to produce opera. As the company works to bring live opera back to its longtime home, it continues to bring the art form into fans' homes by producing new operatic films and revisiting favorite productions streamed on the Opera Philadelphia Channel.

This bi-lingual presentation of Francis Poulenc and Jean Cocteau's one-act tragedy will be sung in French and spoken in English, combining the operatic monodrama with the original play.

Poulenc's one act opera, La Voix Humaine will be presented at the 2021 KeyBank Rochester Fringe Festival (Tuesday, Sept. 14 - Saturday, Sept. 25) on Sunday, September 19 at 7:30PM at MuCCC (142 Atlantic Ave Rochester, NY 14607).
