The New Jersey Symphony Orchestra (NJSO) and New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) present Bell & Lacombe, a one-performance-only program on Friday, May 9, at 8 pm in NJPAC's Prudential Hall. The Grammy Award-winning violinist performs Sibelius' Violin Concerto and Ravel's Tzigane on a program that includes Tchaikovsky's Romeo and Juliet Fantasy-Overture and Grieg's Peer Gynt Suite No. 1. LANCE HORNE - the Emmy Award winning composer, musician, vocalist and producer - will headline a special concert evening at Rockwell Table & Stage in Los Angeles on Tuesday, April 15 at 8:00 PM. Special guests Ashley Fink ('Glee'), Shane Jenek (Courtney Act from 'RuPaul's Drag Race') and Adam Kantor (The Last Five Years) have joined the evening, in adition to previously announced Ricki Lake, Julie Garnye (Les Miserables at the Hollywood Bowl) and Lisa Ann Walter (The Parent Trap) with special surprise stars. They will perform songs from his acclaimed CD First Things Last in addition to a special preview of The Night Before My Wedding, Horne's upcoming collaboration with Neil Gaiman. Lance's March 31 evening at Birdland Jazz Club in New York featred Alan Cumming, Rachel Dratch, Stephen Wallem, Alice Ripley and more. He recently contributed a movement to Tyler's Suite, a choral song-cycle dedicated to Tyler Clementi, the 18-year-old Rutgers University student that took his life three years ago. The piece, which also includes contributions from Stephen Schwartz, Ann Hampton Callaway and Craig Carnelia, was premiered by the San Francisco Gay Men's Chorus in March. Emmy and Tony award winner and Oklahoma Hall of Fame inductee Kristin Chenoweth will be inducted into the Hollywood Bowl Hall of Fame at this year's Opening Night at the Hollywood Bowl, Saturday, June 21, at 8 pm. Chenoweth first appeared at the Hollywood Bowl for the July 4th Fireworks Spectacular performances in 2001. She later graced the stage in 2007 to present to and perform with that year's Hall of Fame inductee Placido Domingo. And last year, she had her first solo concert at the Bowl in a critically-acclaimed Weekend Spectaculars program.

New programs for Lincoln Center Local HD, a pilot program running April through June in branch libraries in Brooklyn and Queens, were announced today by Russell Granet, Executive Director of Lincoln Center Education. These events, which launched in January, are part of the two-year pilot program that will feature digital streams of programs from Lincoln Center's growing digital content collection, including programs from the Emmy Award-winning series Live From Lincoln Center. The Lincoln Center Local HD pilot program is part of Lincoln Center Education's (LCE) expanded mission to bring Lincoln Center's high-quality resources to new and underserved audiences and communities.
