The task of wrapping up a musical involving Ugandan warlords, closeted Mormons, and amphibious fornication might prove to be rough for the average lyricist - but SOUTH PARK masterminds Trey Parker and Matt Stone have done it nicely with the THE BOOK OF MORMON's 11 o'clock performance of 'Tomorrow is a Latter Day,' and the infamous anthem 'I Believe.' As do KINKY BOOTS' flashy footwear-driven 'Raise You Up/Just Be,' proving everyone loves a good drag queen in six-inch heels, or PIPPIN's big reveal in 'Finale/Magic Shows and Miracles.'

Tanti sono i performer il cui nome svetta sulle locandine dei piu importanti spettacoli a livello internazionale: Gian Marco Schiaretti ed Emanuele Caserta nella produzione Stage Enterteinment di TARZAN attualmente in scena ad Amburgo, rispettivamente nei ruoli di Tarzan e Terk; Daniela Pobega, che da due anni a questa parte miete consensi nel ruolo di Nala nella produzione spagnola di THE LION KING; Angelo di Figlia che, prima in MAMMA MIA! e ora in BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, sta conquistando il pubblico francese; Gabriella Zanchi che tra qualche giorno riprendera il ruolo di Madame de la Grande Bouche - da lei gia interpretato nella versione italiana del musical - nella suddetta produzione parigina di BEAUTY AND THE BEAST... Ad ogni modo, quest'oggi i nostri riflettori sono puntati su un altro giovane performer italiano che - avendo terminato da qualche settimana il suo percorso di studi presso la prestigiosa AMDA di New York - comincia adesso la sua scalata verso la Great White Way. Sto parlando di Eugenio Contenti. Noto in terra nostrana per aver affiancato i piu grandi registi del settore (da Saverio Marconi a Federico Bellone, da Mauro Simone a Christian Ginepro, da Fabrizio Angelini a Claudio Insegno) e per aver calcato le scene in spettacoli come PINOCCHIO (sbarcato gia a New York nel 2010) e ALICE NEL PAESE DELLE MERAVIGLIE, Eugenio si e di recente esibilto al Cafe101 regalando un'esilarante esibizione del brano To Excess del duo Kooman&Dimond - contenuto nel loro ultimo album OUT OF OUR HEADS - di cui vi proponiamo il video.

Directed by Paramount Theatre Artistic Director Jim Corti, Miss Saigon is the second installment in the Paramount's 'Better than Broadway' 2013-14 Broadway series. As presently contemplated, American Express would maintain a 50% ownership stake in the joint venture, which would continue to operate under the American Express Global Business Travel brand, while an investor group led by Certares would own the remaining 50% interest. The investor group would invest a sum in the range of $700 million to $1 billion, which would be used by the joint venture to grow the GBT business. Subject to the execution of definitive agreements and receipt of requisite regulatory and other approvals, the transaction would be expected to close in the second quarter of 2014, at which time American Express would expect to recognize a gain.
