Syfy's smash hit reality competition series Face Off announces a surprise crowning event for its third season, with plans to broadcast live from Los Angeles, CA on Halloween night 2012, Wednesday, October 31 at 10 p.m. ET. For the first time, America's voice will be heard as viewers will make the final choice for the season three champion via a live voting feature that will be available immediately following the October 30 episode. McKenzie Westmore will host the special event and reunite the contestants, including the three finalists who will find out live if they garnered enough viewer votes to win the season.

Austin Lyric Opera (ALO) has announced the lineup of its 26th season (2012-2013). The season kicks off in November 2012 with Leoncavallo's Pagliacci, followed by Mozart's The Marriage of Figaro in January and February 2013. AMC announced today from Comic-Con 2012 in San Diego, CA the premiere of 'The Walking Dead' Season 3 on Sunday, October 14 at 9pm ET/PT. When you're dealing with a musical version of a classic like 'The Little Mermaid,' it becomes nearly impossible to botch a show enough to give viewers reason to hate it. You still have all the popular songs that everyone loves to sing along with (including one adorable little girl sitting in the back on opening night), and you have the iconic characters that we all love so much. Still, for avid fans of the movie or those who had complaints about the Broadway version of 'Mermaid,' the Sacramento Music Circus production of 'The Little Mermaid' doesn't quite live up to the hype.

Michael Riedel reports in today's The New York Post that 'It appears that Jujamcyn's got "Kinky Boots" and will put it in the Al Hirschfeld Theatre next spring following an out-of-town tryout in Chicago in the fall. Jujamcyn's co-producer will be Hal Luftig, who's on a roll with the hit revival of Evita.'
