In celebration of “The 52nd Annual CMA Awards,” Country Music's Biggest Night, ABC is set to air its 10th annual pre-CMA Awards Special, “Country Music's Biggest Stars: In the Spotlight with Robin Roberts,” Sunday, Nov. 11 from 9:00-10:00 PM/CT on The ABC Television Network. 

Radio Disney, an influencer in driving kids' and families' awareness of music and talented young music artists, will mark the 10th anniversary of its signature talent program, 'Next Big Thing' ('NBT'), in November. The popular initiative puts the spotlight on young recording artists and their journey to success; it has generated audience engagement across multiple platforms including Radio Disney, Disney Channel, RadioDisney.com, the Radio Disney app and social media platforms, as well as at live Radio Disney events.

Dierks Bentley with Brothers Osborne, Florida Georgia Line with Bebe Rexha, Kacey Musgraves, Pistol Annies, and Thomas Rhett have been added to the lineup of performers for “The 52nd Annual CMA Awards,” hosted for the 11th consecutive year by Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood. Country Music's Biggest Night will air live from Bridgestone Arena in Nashville Wednesday, Nov. 14 at 8:00 PM/ET / 7:00 PM/CT on the ABC Television Network. 

CMA Awards nominees Kelsea Ballerini, Luke Bryan, Kenny Chesney, Dan + Shay, Old Dominion, Carrie Underwood, and Keith Urban have been announced as the first group of performers for “The 52nd Annual CMA Awards,” hosted for the 11th consecutive year by Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood. Country Music's Biggest Night will air live from Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Wednesday, Nov. 14 (7:00 – 10:00 PM/CT) on the ABC Television Network.

American Idol winner and Hollywood Records/Industrial Media's 19 Recordings recording artist, Maddie Poppe, has announced her highly-anticipated next single, “Keep On Movin' On,” due for release October 26th. The song was written by Jarrad Kritzstein (Kate Nash, Weezer), Brandon Lowry (Brittney Spears, Elle King) and Hillary Lindsey (Carrie Underwood, Kelsea Ballerini). The release marks her first original music since her Idol release, “Going Going Gone.” Maddie will perform the single for the first time on LIVE with Kelly and Ryan on October 26th.

CMT today revealed an all-star tribute to country legend and 2018 “Artist of a Lifetime” Award recipient, Loretta Lynn, featuring Sheryl Crow, Dierks Bentley and Martina McBride. The trio will perform LIVE from Nashville at the 9th annual “2018 CMT Artists of the Year” special on Wednesday, October 17 at 8:00pm ET/PT. Some of music's biggest stars are set to present at the event, including Sheryl Crow, Keith Urban, Smokey Robinson, singer-songwriter Elle King, Hillary Scott, Jimi Westbrook, Phillip Sweet, Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood, along with a special introduction by platinum-selling artist, Trisha Yearwood. They all join previously announced presenter Sissy Spacek.

dick clark productions and ABC today announced a star-studded line-up of presenters for the "2018 American Music Awards." Some of the biggest names from film, television and music including Kelsea Ballerini, Tyra Banks, Kane Brown, Chloe x Halle, Macaulay Culkin, Lauren Daigle, Billy Eichner, Sara Gilbert, Kathryn Hahn, Amber Heard, Vanessa Hudgens, Taran Killam & Leighton Meester, Heidi Klum, Liza Koshy, Lenny Kravitz, Normani, Rita Ora, Busy Philipps, Bebe Rexha & Florida Georgia Line ,Thomas Rhett, Evan Ross & Ashlee Simpson-Ross, John Stamos, Amandla Stenberg, The Chainsmokers, Constance Wu, and the cast of "Bohemian Rhapsody" including Rami Malek, Joseph Mazzello & Gwilym Lee will take the stage throughout the night.

ABC announced today more stars of music, film and television who will join the celebration of Mickey Mouse on 'Mickey's 90th Spectacular,' airing SUNDAY, NOV. 4 (8:00-10:01 p.m. EST), on The ABC Television Network. The two-hour television event paying tribute to the True Original will feature appearances by Skylar Astin ('Pitch Perfect' franchise, 'Crazy Ex-Girlfriend'), GRAMMYÒ-nominated singer-songwriter Kelsea Ballerini, actor Miles Brown (ABC's 'black-ish,' 'Dancing with the Stars: Juniors'), Anna Camp ('Pitch Perfect' franchise, the upcoming feature film 'The Wedding Year'), Josh Gad (Disney's 'Frozen'), Wendi McLendon-Covey (ABC's 'The Goldbergs,' 'Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween,' 'Bridesmaids') and Sage Steele (host of ESPN's 'SportsCenter'), as well as special musical performances by Luis Fonsi and Tori Kelly.

Country music's latest “one to watch,” Walker Hayes, delighted fans in Los Angeles with a show at the iconic Troubadour on Tuesday, October 2nd. The intimate venue has housed shows for some of music's most renowned performers. Talented newcomer, Tenille Townes, opened the show with her unique sound and heartfelt storytelling.

To continue this year's celebration of women, CMT has added seven new powerhouse performances to the “2018 CMT Artists of the Year” lineup: Carrie Underwood with CMT Next Women of Country and tour mates Maddie & Tae and Runaway June; Miranda Lambert and Pistol Annies; Kelsea Ballerini with Alison Krauss; Karen Fairchild and Kimberly Schlapman with soul legend Gladys Knight; and Hillary Scott with singer-songwriter Tori Kelly and Grammy-award winning gospel artist Kirk Franklin. In addition, honoree Maren Morris will join forces with Brandi Carlile for a powerful tribute to late icon Aretha Franklin. The 9th annual special premieres LIVE from Nashville on Wednesday, October 17 at 8:00pm ET/PT, only on CMT.

Grammy winning singer/songwriter, John Berry, has been included on the new release of “Country Faith Christmas Vol. 2” by popular faith-based, multi-faceted brand, Country Faith. The CD features the top Country Music artists including Carrie Underwood, Chris Young, Kelsea Ballerini, Charlie Daniels, Hank Williams Jr, Darius Rucker and more.

In a year of celebrating the achievements of women in country music, CMT today announced that Loretta Lynn will be honored with the “Artist of a Lifetime” award presented by Ram Trucks at this year's all-female “CMT Artists of the Year” event premiering live Wednesday, October 17 at 8:00 PM ET/PT. Academy Award winner and “Coal Miner's Daughter” actress Sissy Spacek will bestow the award to Lynn, who joins previous recipients of the honor including Shania Twain (2016), Kenny Rogers (2015), and Merle Haggard (2014).

The Country Music Association visited Houston yesterday, Monday, Sept. 17, with Josh Kerr, Maddie & Tae and Jon Nite, joining the CMA Foundation to meet with students at Waltrip High School followed by a CMA Songwriters Series Presented by U.S. Bank performance at The Heights Theater. Monday afternoon, the songwriters visited Waltrip High School in the Houston Independent School District (HISD), participating in two band classes and a Q&A session, in addition to being treated to special performances by the students in each class.

The Country Music Association visited Houston yesterday, Monday, Sept. 17, with Josh Kerr, Maddie & Tae and Jon Nite, joining the CMA Foundation to meet with students at Waltrip High School followed by a CMA Songwriters Series Presented by U.S. Bank performance at The Heights Theater.
