TwentySomething Productions Presents European Premiere of 6: A New Musical, 27-28 July

6 - a new musical with book, music and lyrics by Zack Zadek (additional lyrics by Gina DePalo), will receive its European premiere at the Space on North Bridge, Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2014 with previews at London Theatre Workshop 27th - 28th July. Zack is one of America's youngest and most promising composers having 6 - a new musical selected by New York Musical Theatre Festival and featured in 2012. He was soon after invited to perform a solo concert at NYCs famous Joe's Pub. In January 2014 TwentySomething produced Zack's UK debut concert featuring some of London's finest voices.

Jermyn Street Theatre to Welcome THE RETURN OF THE SOLDIER, Sept 2-20

Coinciding with the centenary of the First World War, The Return of the Soldier is an intimate new chamber musical by Tim Sanders (book and lyrics) and Charles Miller (composer) based on Rebecca West's celebrated 1918 novel. This intensely bitter-sweet tale dissects the very different love of three women for Captain Christopher Baldry. The Return of the Solider will play Jermyn Street Theatre, 16b Jermyn Street, London SW1Y 6ST from Tuesday 2nd September to Saturday 20th September 2014. Press Night: Thursday 4th September, 7.30pm.

Kim Criswell Stars as Ethel Merman in MERMAN'S APPRENTICE Reading at the Landor Theatre, Now thru 2/13

Merman's Apprentice, a new musical fable with Book and Lyrics by Stephen Cole (Inventing Mary Martin, After the Fair, The Night of the Hunter, The Road to Qatar!) and Music by David Evans (Birds of Paradise, Children's Letters to God) has been chosen to be the opening show as part of London's Landor Theatre's 'From Page to Stage Festival' today, February 11th and 12th at 7:30pm.

Celebrate the Jewish Composers of Broadway's Golden Age With THE JEWISH LEGACY - A NIGHT AT THE MUSICALS, Begin. 30 March

Broadway's golden age of musical theatre wouldn't be what it is today without the incredibly talented Jewish composers and lyricists of the 20th century. Together they created an enduring legacy that is enjoyed by millions of people across the world every year. Despite its name, The Jewish Legacy is a show for everyone that takes you from the very beginnings of musical theatre, just over a century ago, to some of the most up-to-date and intriguing musical theatre being written today. The stories that have been told and the people who have been part of this journey come together for this amazing night, with a few amusing anecdotes along the way, to celebrate such unforgettably famous shows as West Side Story, Funny Girl, Fiddler On The Roof, The Wizard Of Oz and South Pacific with classics including My Funny Valentine, Over the Rainbow, Tonight, There's No Business Like Show Business and Wouldn't It Be Loverly?.

Page To Stage is a season of new musical theatre dedicated to the showcasing of work in development to an audience, to garner feedback and create new opportunities for the artistes involved. Which will take place from 10th February until 9th March 2014 for a dedicated four-week period.

A BODY TO DIE(T) FOR Begins Tonight at Edinburgh Fringe

The World Premiere of Tim Anfilogoff and Alan Whittaker's sharp and satirical musical plays C Venues at this year's Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Grace Bishop, Nicola Kill, and Rosie Watson will take on the titular role of Greta, Annie Kirkman makes her professional debut as the manipulative Fay, they will be joined by Sam Turrell as Tony, Michael Rees as Reg/Fred, Melissa Hovelle as Rita, Will Mulvey as Gregory Hampton M.P, Chelsea Corfield as Ute and Paul Brangan as Norm. The production will run today, 31st July - 26th August (not 13th) : 21:35 (1hr10) | C (venue 34).
