The Tokens are the doo-wop-style vocal group from Brooklyn, New York that is known best for it's chart-soaring #1 single, 'The Lion Sleeps Tonight.' The Tokens members Mitch Margo, Phil Margo and Noah Margo have penned a new musical comedy titled, "Oh, My Goddess." The New York City reading will be presented Friday, October 26th.

American Conservatory Theater's (A.C.T.) highly anticipated production of Armistead Maupin's Tales of the City has been extended an additional two weeks through July 24 due to unprecedented demand. The world premiere musical amassed the largest advance sale in A.C.T.'s history prior to its first preview performance on May 18 and has continued to break sales records heading into this week's opening night gala. The Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation today announced television host, actress, singer, playwright, songwriter and author Kathie Lee Gifford will host the second annual Born for Broadway, to be held Monday, October 4th at 8:00 p.m. at New World Stages, 340 West 50th Street, New York.
