REG E. CATHEY (House of Cards, The Wire) joins the cast of EXODUS: DREAMS OF THE PROMISED LAND IN ANTEBELLUM AMERICA, playing multiple roles including Solomon Northrup (Twelve Years a Slave) and the Abolitionist Frederick Douglass. The cast also includes ROSALYN COLEMAN WILLIAMS (The Mountaintop, Seven Guitars, The Piano Lesson) in multiple roles including Elizabeth Keckley (familiar to audiences from the movie Lincoln), JENNIFER RAU as Abolitionist Angelina Grimke, and the noted vocal ensemble THE WESTERN WIND. Conceived by Salon/Sanctuary's Founding Artistic Director Jessica Gould to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the Emancipation Proclamation, EXODUS was originally presented last year in a sold-out performance staged at the historic Fraunces Tavern, the oldest structure in Manhattan.

Screen Actors Guild Foundation and BroadwayWorld have partnered for an inaugural filmed Conversations Q&A series to recognize and celebrate the vibrant theatre community in New York City and the union actors who aspire to have a career on the stage and screen. Acclaimed actor and director Mark Ruffalo will share his reflections on for stage and film to students and faculty as The New School for Drama's 2014 Artist-in-Residence. As Artist-in-Residence, Ruffalo will join a master class for The New School for Drama's community of graduate students of acting. He will also speak with undergraduate and graduate acting, directing and playwriting students and faculty in an open forum on Tuesday, March 11 at 7:00 p.m. in Arnhold Hall, 55 W. 13th Street, 5th floor, moderated by Pippin Parker, director of The New School for Drama.

As BroadwayWorld previously reported, a workshop for the revamped version of FINDING NEVERLAND is set to take place in New York City this spring, directed by Tony winner Diane Paulus. According to the Daily Mail's Baz Bamigboye, Broadway veteran and GLEE star Matthew Morrison is on board to lead the project opposite Laura Michelle Kelly.

History Matters/Back to the Future will present FORGOTTEN TREASURERS: An Evening of Scenes by Historic Women Playwrights Read by Luminaries of Stage, Film, and Television. The performance will take place at 7:00pm on Monday, February 17th at The Helen Mills Theatre 139 West 26th Street (between 7th and 6th Avenues). Tickets are by invitation only.

On Monday, January 27 (3pm and 7pm), Cherry Lane Theatre will present Love/Kill by Joe Pintauro. The project will be directed by Valentina Fratti and will feature the talents of Angelina Fiordellisi, Mandy Gonzales, Alex Morgan, Dennis Parlato and Peter McRobbie.
