Production has begun on A Monster Calls, directed by Juan Antonio Bayona, Goya Award-winning director of the worldwide smash The Impossible.

Focus Features announced today that they have acquired North American distribution rights to A Little Chaos, directed by Alan Rickman from a screenplay he wrote with Alison Deegan and Jeremy Brock.

There will be a new Wizard of Oz-related film in the near future. According to Oh No They Didn't!, New Line Cinema has picked up a script by Josh Golden about The Wizard of Oz author, L. Frank Baum. Entitled ROAD TO OZ, this biographical feature tells the story of Baum's early life. Beau Flynn is set to produce through FlynnPictureCo.
