Artists' Exchange proudly presents its 9th Annual One Act Play Festival this summer, kicking off with Wave 1 today, July 25-August 2 at Theatre 82 in Cranston. Eight exciting new plays will be showcased over two weekends on Friday and Saturday evenings, performed by local theatre professionals, community actors, and Artists' Exchange artists.

The first wave of this year's One-Act Play Festival, very ably directed by Artists? Exchange actors Tom Chace and Kate Lester, features five selections highlighting the work of both local and national dramatists.

Artists' Exchange gathered a solid ensemble of local actors for their production of 'Our Town,' and this group makes the most of each and every character portrayed on stage.

Artists' Exchange and Gateways to Change, Inc. previously announced that the 5th annual Fall Out of Summer Arts Festival would be held today, September 23, 2012 from 11am to 5pm in the lots surrounding Artists' Exchange and Citizens Bank. The festival will feature live music and theater, artisans, art activities and contests, food and more. Admission is free for kids 12 & under, with a regular admission of $1 to benefit Artists' Exchange's programs.
