Project Shaw Gives 37th Presentation, THE MAN OF DESTINY 5/18 At Players Club

PROJECT SHAW, now in its third of the four-year series, continues tackling every play George Bernard Shaw ever wrote. This will be its 37th presentation. Shaw's rarely performed comedies, THE MAN OF DESTINY and THE GLIMPSE OF REALITY will be performed on Monday, MAY 18th at 7pm at the Players Club, 16 Gramercy Park South. DAVID STALLER is producer and director.

An invitation-only staged reading of a new musical, The Tapioca Miracle, is set for Monday, April 27 at 2 & 7 p.m. at Chelsea Studios, 151 West 26th Street, The Tapioca Miracle will have book and lyrics are by Eric Coble and Larry Kaye and music by Dan Kazemi, and will be directed by Tony Award-winner John Rando (Urinetown, The Toxic Avenger).

Country Music Star Joe Nichols Cast As Lead In New Musical PURE COUNTRY

Country music star, CMA Winner, ACM Winner and four-time Grammy Nominee Joe Nichols has been offered the role made famous by George Strait in the Broadway production of the hit movie, Pure Country. According to producer Randall L. Wreghitt, the musical is in the process of securing the remainder of its financing and casting, and plans to open in early 2010.
