Manhattan Theatre Club announced that Bill Pullman ('1600 Penn;' The Goat, or Who Is Sylvia?) will join the cast of The Other Place starting today, February 5 at MTC's Samuel J. Friedman Theatre (261 West 47th Street). Pullman will assume the role of Ian.

Julia Stiles Stars in Hallmark Hall of Fame's THE MAKEOVER on ABC Tonight

The all-star cast for Hallmark Hall of Fame's THE MAKEOVER, which premieres TONIGHT, ?JANUARY 27 (9:00-11:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network, will be led by Julia Stiles ("Silver Linings Playbook," "The Bourne Ultimatum"), David Walton ("New Girl," "Happy Endings"), Frances Fisher ("Titanic," "Unforgiven"), Camryn Manheim ("Ghost Whisperer," "The Practice") and Georgia Lyman ("Brotherhood," "The Town").

The all-star cast for Hallmark Hall of Fame's 'The Makeover' is led by Julia Stiles (Silver Linings Playbook, The Bourne Ultimatum), David Walton (New Girl, Happy Endings), Frances Fisher (Titanic, Unforgiven), Camryn Manheim (Ghost Whisperer, The Practice) and Georgia Lyman (Brotherhood, The Town). The original movie premieres on ABC Sunday, Jan. 27, 9-11 p.m. ET/PT.

'The View's Sherri Shepherd Makes Appearance in NEWSIES

The View's Sherri Shepherd recently fulfilled her lifelong dream when she made her Broadway debut in the SMASH hit, Tony Award winning musical, NEWSIES. During her one-night only appearance, Shepherd will take viewers backstage, up close and personal with the creative team, cast and crew - with all the backstage antics and opening night jitters on 'The View's JANUARY 25th episode airing 11:00 am/ET on ABC.

VIDEO: First Look at the Film Adaptation of BETWEEN US

Adapted by original playwright Joe Hortua and film director Dan Mirvish, BETWEEN US is a dark comedy in which two couples who are old friends reunite over the course of two incendiary evenings where anything can happen.The film explores theme of bittersweet friendship between two couples, as they discover their lives are tarnished by money, success, sex and children. It brings to mind Polanski's Carnage, but with more the tone and scope of Sideways. Check out the film's new teaser trailer below!

Weinstein Co. to Broaden Release of SILVER LININGS PLAYBOOK

Deadline reports that The Weinstein Company will expand the release of David O Russell's Silver Linings Playbook to between 2500 and 3000 screens in order to broaden awareness of the film during the current award's season.

Schooled stars Tony nominee Peter Friedman (Playwrights Horizon's Circle Mirror Transformation), Sarah Steele (Lincoln Center Theatre/LCT3's Slowgirl), Harry Zittel (Lincoln Center Theatre/LCT3's All-American) and Zoe Winters (Lincoln Center Theatre/LCT3's 4000 Miles). Amber Tamblyn to Lead THE MISS FIRECRACKER CONTEST on Broadway This Spring; Judith Ivey to Direct

Pulitzer Prize winning playwright Beth Henley's 100-proof comedy THE MISS FIRECRACKER CONTEST, starring film and television actress Amber Tamblyn and directed by Tony Award winner Judith Ivey, will bow on Broadway in the spring of 2013. THE MISS FIRECRACKER CONTEST marks Ms. Tamblyn's Broadway debut and Ms. Ivey's Broadway debut as director, and is produced by HOP Theatricals. Broadway theater and dates to be announced.

YOUR SISTER'S SISTER Among Winners of 22nd Independent Gotham Awards

Among winners at the Awards ceremony, hosted by Mike Birbiglia were Wes Anderson's Moonrise Kingdom for Best Picture Award, 'How To Survive A Plague' for Best Documentary Award and 'Your Sister's Sister' for Best Ensemble Performance Award.

SILVER LININGS PLAYBOOK Will Not Open Nationwide 11/21

As The Hollywood Reporter learned earlier tonight, SILVER LININGS PLAYBOOK, starring Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence, will no longer open nationwide Nov. 21. Rather, David O. Russell's drama will only open in 10-15 theaters this weekend, and continue premiering around the country through December.
