TOP GIRLS to Run 3/13-5/4 at Antaeus Theater

Politics get personal in the go-getting 1980s of Margaret Thatcher's England when Marlene, who has just been made managing director of the Top Girls Employment Agency, discovers that life above the glass ceiling is not all it's cracked up to be. Antaeus, L.A.'s classical theater ensemble, opens its 2014 season with a fully partner-cast production of Top Girls, the Obie Award-winning comedy by Caryl Churchill. Previews begin March 6, with two opening nights set for March 13 and March 14 at the Antaeus Theater in NoHo. Cameron Watson directs.

BWW Reviews: Laughter and Learning in Four Clowns Jr.'s SOMEWHERE LIKE EARTH

Four Clowns Jr.'s foursome packs a lot of punch into its 45-minute original family show about one clown's journey to a planet 'somewhere like earth.' This is pure interactive fun - the kind you can have while sitting in your seat without worrying you'll be dragged up onstage to suffer some horrifying humiliation at the hands of clowns.

DOCTOR WHO Among BAFTA 2013 Television Craft Awards Nominations

BAFTA has today announced the nominations for its annual British Academy Television Craft Awards, which honour the very best behind-the-scenes talent from television. This year's ceremony will be held at The Brewery, in the City of London, on Sunday 28 April.

NORTHERN SOUL Kicks Off Soho Theatre's Summer Season in London, July 11

Soho Theatre has announced a full summer season of theatre, comedy and cabaret to be presented both at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and in London. In theatre, the group presents new work from Phil Porter, Will Eno and Joel Horwood. In Edinburgh and in London Soho presents acts from across the globe, including Barry Award Winner Doctor Brown and the joint Best Newcomer Winners from the Melbourne Comedy Festival Matt Okine and Ronny Chieng. Plus the return of the Soho Literary Festival.

Branagh, Brydon Set for THE PAINKILLER, Sept. 29

Theatre veterans Kenneth Branagh and Rob Brydon are set to star in The Painkiller at the Lyric Theatre. The production will be a new adaptation of the Francis Veber work by Sean Foley. The show will open on September 29.

Ohio Theatre Presents Collection of Plays Entitled 'Love,' 4/21-4/24

SHORT LOVE at the OHIO is a festival of short works by award-winning playwrights Bekah Brunstetter (OOHRAH!, Atlantic Theater), Dan Kitrosser (Night of the Butterfly, 45 Bleecker Theatre) and Justin Swain (OtherLife, American Place Theater) all woven together to into that big wicker basket we call Love, playing Wednesday - Saturday, April 21st - April 24th at 7pm, at The Ohio Theatre.

'Floyd Collins,' the breath-taking musical by Adam Guettel and Tina Landau, is proudly presented by the San Francisco State University College of Creative Arts, running December 7 through 17, directed by Barbara Damashek.
