Broadway legend and two-time Tony Award-winner Chita Rivera will kick off the national tour of her autobiographical Broadway musical Chita Rivera: The Dancer's Life at the Aronoff Theater in Cincinnati December 19 - 31, 2006
Two new productions of operas by Rossini and Puccini will be helmed, respectively, by The Light in the Piazza's Bartlett Sher and Dirty Rotten Scoundrel's Jack O'Brien as part of the Metropolitan Opera's 2006-2007 season

DANCER'S LIFE have announced 'THE BROADWAY GIVES-BACK FUND,' whereby they
will subsidize the purchase of tickets to the final performances of CHITA
RIVERA: THE DANCER'S LIFE for students and up-and-coming performers. The
show play's its last performance this Sunday (2/19).
Solid hits winning acclaim from critics and audiences, THE LIGHT IN THE PIAZZA, DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS, CHITA RIVERA: THE DANCER'S LIFE, and WICKED will set the stage for the season. A fifth show, still to be announced, will round out the 2006-2007 season.
Chita Rivera will reunite with her legendary Bye, Bye Birdie co-star when Dick Van Dyke makes a special guest appearance in CHITA RIVERA: THE DANCER'S LIFE, it was announced by the show's producers. Mr. Van Dyke will appear in the musical for four performances: Tuesday, January 24 - Thursday, January 26, 2006.
CAROLINE, OR CHANGE, the new musical by playwright-librettist Tony Kushner and composer Jeanine Tesori, directed by George C. Wolfe, will play its final performance at the Eugene O'Neill Theatre on Sunday, August 29th at 3pm. The production will have played 23 previews and 136 regular performances.
