Community theater companies that perform at Mercer County Community College's Kelsey Theatre continued to garner accolades at this year's annual Perry Awards competition, hosted by the New Jersey Association of Community Theatres (NJACT). Actors from the James Tolin Memorial Fund (JTMF) will present a riveting staged reading of 'The Laramie Project' at Mercer County Community College's Kelsey Theatre tonight, Oct. 6 at 7 p.m. Presented as part of JTMF's continuing Anti-Bullying/Anti-Suicide Campaign, this special event will benefit the Tyler Clementi Foundation. Kelsey Theatre is located on the college's West Windsor campus, 1200 Old Trenton Road.

Dates and times are Fridays, April 19 and 26 at 8 p.m.; Saturdays, April 20 and 27 at 8 p.m.; and Sundays, April 21 and 28 at 2 p.m. A reception with the cast and crew follows the opening night performance on April 19. After being nominated for 27 Perry Awards by the New Jersey Association of Community Theaters (NJACT) for shows performed during the 2011-12 season, the groups were awarded eight Perry Awards at a ceremony held on Sept. 9.
