Fear not, your nightmares have been answered as EPIX and FEARnet have partnered to present 'Maidens of Mayhem,' a week-long festival of horror films featuring possessed ladies and the men/women and other entities who love them - or want to kill them. The festival begins on FEARnet today, October 14th and moves to EPIX on Thursday, October 17th with a special presentation of the original Carrie (1976) starring Sissy Spacek on the eve of the latest film adaptation of the Stephen King novel, starring Chlo? Grace-Moretz and Julianne Moore. Following the film, EPIX will present a World Premiere sneak peek at the new movie (see full schedule below).
Variety reports that ABC has picked up their new fall drama Marvel's Agents of SHIELD for a full first season after the first three episodes of the show delivered strong ratings in the highly coveted Adults 18-49 demographic.

EW has noted that in a Facebook promo for tomorrow night's episode of MARVEL'S AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D., a pretty significant hint was dropped that Samuel L. Jackson may make a cameo (which you can view below.) The promo suggests 'Don't risk the spoilers, stay to the very end' - and then the S.H.I.E.L.D. logo swoops up, and the eagle's wearing an eye patch.

The Guthrie Theater welcomes Vincent Kartheiser, known to worldwide audiences as advertising executive Pete Campbell in the ongoing Golden Globe, Emmy and SAG Award-winning series 'Mad Men', in the iconic role of Mr. Darcy in the theater's production of Pride and Prejudice, based on the novel by Jane Austen, adapted for the stage by Simon Reade and directed by Joe Dowling. The final show of the Guthrie's 50th anniversary season, Pride and Prejudice will begin previews tonight, July 6, with an opening night of July 12, and will run through August 31.
