The inaugural Mammoth Film Festival came to a close last night with a standing-room only Awards Ceremony held at the Canyon Lodge in Mammoth Lakes, CA. Jennifer Morrison took home the top prize, Best Picture for her film Sun Dogs which closed the festival earlier that day. Sun Dogs also took home a total of 3 Awards last night, including the Grand Jury Prize. The film was recently Acquired by Netflix. The indie thriller Josie starring Sophie Turner also took home 3 Awards. Screen Media recently acquired the film and will release it in theaters and On Demand in March. Sophie Turner won the Best Actress Award. Sons of St. Clair the documentary chronicling Bone Thugs N Harmony's Krayzie Bone & Bizzy Bone Directed by Tim Newfang took home Best Documentary Award.

When David Moscow made his 'Big'-screen debut in 1988, it was huge. Penny Marshall had plucked this precocious, 11-year-old kid from the Bronx to play the younger version of Tom Hanks' character, Josh Baskin. This comic fantasy-fable about a boy who literally became 'Big' overnight, was a giant box-office hit. Moscow was nominated for a Young Artist Award for Best Young Actor in a Comedy. Stage and Screen Actress Glenne Headly Dies at 63

The Hollywood Reporter reports that Glenne Headly, star of Dick Tracy and Mr. Holland's Opus, among others, has died. The actress was 63. Her reps did not provide a cause of death when making their statement.
