Josh Gad & Kevin Hart to Star in Untitled Miramax Comedy

Miramax and Screen Gems are collaborating on a currently UNTITLED comedy that will star Kevin Hart (Think Like a Man, Let Me Explainand Ride Along) and Josh Gad (Love & Other Drugs and 21). Jeremy Garelick will direct the film, which was also written by Garelick (The Break-Up, Police Academy and An Ex to Grind) together with Jay Lavender (The Break-Up) and was developed at Miramax.

Jenna Elfman to Replace Parker Posey in New NBC Comedy

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jenna Elfman is currently in discussions to take over the role of ex-wife 'Joyce Fisher' in the new NBC comedy THE FAMILY GUIDE. She would replace previously cast actress Parker Posey who left the project just one day after the network greenlit it to series.

At the Fountain Theatricals, a new theatre organization at Stanford University, will host its Inaugural Event today, May 17 at 3pm. The organization is aimed at providing students with additional opportunities for arts education and musical theatre performance. To present their mission to the Stanford student body and the general public, the inaugural event will consist of an introduction to the organization by the founding members as well as keynote speaker, Broadway's Josh Gad. Mr. Gad will also participate in a Q&A session following his speech.

Actor/Writer/Director Zach Braff announced today that he has added Tony nominated actor Josh Gad to the cast of his film WISH I WAS HERE. The announcement was made on the film's Kickstarter page where the film surpassed its initial $2 million goal in just four days.

On next week's all new episode of 1600 PENN, titled 'Dinner, Bath, Puzzle,' after a meeting with the French President (guest star Tom Amandes) and his wife (guest star Sofia Milos), President Gilchrist (Bill Pullman) and Emily (Jenna Elfman) decide to plan an outside-the-box date night in hopes of rekindling their romance. Elsewhere, when Skip (Josh Gad) is left to watch the children for the evening, things don't go quite as expected. Meanwhile, Marshall (Andre Holland) and D.B. (guest star Robbie Amell) form an unexpected bond. Martha MacIsaac, Amara Miller and Benjamin Stockham also star. 'Dinner, Bath, Puzzle' airs March 21 at 9:30 p.m. on NBC.
