Fox's new dramatic series ALCATRAZ premiered last night, giving the Fox network it's best drama debut in three years.
ALCATRAZ is premiering on FOX on Monday, January 16, 2012. From executive producer J.J. Abrams (FRINGE, 'Lost,' 'Star Trek,' 'Super 8' and the upcoming 'Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol') and writer Elizabeth Sarnoff ('Lost,' 'Deadwood') comes ALCATRAZ, a chilling new drama revolving around America's most infamous prison, the one-time home to the nation's worst murderers, rapists, kidnappers, thieves and arsonists.
As first reported on TVGuide.com, Michael Eklund, star of 'Fringe' and 'Smallville's' Eric Johnson are set to guest star on Fox's new drama series ALCATRAZ. Both actors will play prisonors who have recently escaped from the famed San Francisco prison.

On Monday, May 16, the FOX 2011 Upfront event was held at the Wollman Rink in Central Park in New York City.
