Scottish writer, Irvine Welsh, the author of 'Trainspotting', claims a 'bleak dystopia' as a result of Trump's Presidency and Britain's Brexit vote.

The 2017 ASCAP Foundation Musical Theatre Workshop, in partnership with DreamWorks Animation and The Wallis, returns to Beverly Hills on February 1 - 2, 2017. The two-day annual workshop gives select composers and lyricists the opportunity to present songs and excerpts of new original musical works in progress for professional critique.

This will be an absolutely unique opportunity to develop your Directing skills with one of today's most versatile directors.

The National Youth Music Theatre celebrated its 40th birthday in style - with ENCORE: 40 Years of NYMT, a star-studded West End gala night at the Adelphi Theatre. The glittering evening, on Sunday 30 October, featured an array of performances celebrating the last 40 years of NYMT, lots of surprise guests and items and some previews of what is to come. National Theatre Live previously announced international broadcasts of the Rufus Norris' National Theatre production of The Threepenny Opera by Bertolt Brecht and Kurt Weill, in collaboration with Elisabeth Hauptmann, in a new adaptation by Simon Stephens tonight, September 22, 2016; and, Carrie Cracknell's acclaimed National Theatre production of Terence Rattigan's The Deep Blue Sea on Thursday, October 6, 2016.
