Bichir, who is currently starring as Mary Louise-Parker's love interest on Showtime's Weeds, will play the role of Arturo, a Cuban immigrant who is hired to (coincidentally) weed the garden of unconventional Austin widow Catherine. The musical is being produced by the duo that brought Jersey Boys to the stage, Michael Brickman and Rick Elice.
What's on Stage is reporting that actor Jonathan Pryce will be starring in a revival of Athol Fugard's Dimetos this upcoming Spring. The show will run as part of Donmar Warehouse's season from March 25h, 2008 to May 9th, 2009. The production will be directed by Donmar Associate Director Douglas Hodge.
