Recently, GLEE and Broadway actor Jonathan Groff visited Conestoga Middle School, where he first fell in love with acting. He spoke to a full middle school assembly and to the cast of the high school production of 'The Sound of Music.'

The Franklin School for the Performing Arts musical theatre students came from Franklin, MA for a weekend of master classes with the Broadway Artists Alliance of New York City

Jonathan Groff (Glee, Spring Awakening, etc.) joined the Broadway Artists Alliance as a special guest on Monday, January 17th for a Glee-themed master class. After an engaging Q&A, students Emily Pisarra and Alexis Molnar sang for him and received valuable feedback. Just before meeting Groff, the young talent of Broadway's future learned choreography from Glee. The afternoon was spent in an advanced audition technique workshop with a casting representative from Jim Carnahan Casting.

Several local students at the Franklin School for the Performing Arts (FSPA) traveled to New York City on January 14-17, 2011 to hone their craft and take master classes with Broadway artists.

Michael Cumpsty (one of the recent stars of the hit film 'Eat, Pray, Love') joins the cast of Gingold Theatrical Group's Project Shaw presentation of HEARTBREAK HOUSE, a light comedy about the residents and guests of an English country house crammed full of revelations, romance, and shocking discoveries, just before WWI changes everything -- on Monday, December 20 at 7pm at The Players Club (16 Gramercy Park South) in Manhattan. David Staller produces and directs.
