Jonathan Groff to Return to GLEE This Spring!

GLEE will not return to FOX unti April 10, but theatre fans can rejoice, as TVLine.com has just confirmed that Broadway favorite Jonathan Groff will indeed be returning to the show this Spring. As previously reported, Groff will play 'Jesse St. James' in two upcoming episodes in Season 3.

This week, "Theater Talk" welcomes award-winning bookwriter and his SILENCE! The Musical stars, David Garrison and Jenn Harris. Along with hosts Michael Riedel and Susan Haskins, they focus on the process of turning the classic movie thriller The Silence of the Lambs into a musical. This episode will premiere on WNET/Thirteen Friday February 24th at 1:30 AM and repeat on CUNY TV Saturday February 25th at 8:30 PM, Sunday February 26th at 12:30 PM and Monday February 27th at 7:30 AM, 1:30 PM & 7:30 PM.

Online revealed that Spring Awakening's original Wendla, GLEE star Lea Michele, is being courted for her old role in the upcoming film version of the show. Film director, McG, told them: 'I love Lea; we've talked about it...When I first got turned onto the show she was in it so it's her voice that echoes in my heart. I really think she's wonderful and we'll see where it takes us.' This got us thinking about who should play other rolls in the movie, which brings us to last week's poll: 'Which Leading Man Should Take on 'Melchior' in the Upcoming SPRING AWAKENING Movie?' ANd the winner, with a whopping 61% of the vote is her original costar Jonathan Groff!
