SILENCE! The Musical is adding Sunday performances beginning this weekend, kicking off its new Spring schedule. Following the announcement that SILENCE! would be ending its long run at the end of 2012, ticket sales unexpectedly soared, shattering all previous box office records held by the show. Subsequently, the producers determined that the production would reopen on January 19th. After opening initially at Theatre 80 on July 9, 2011 to unanimous rave reviews, SILENCE! was extended numerous times by popular demand and transferred theatres twice, ultimately landing at the new Elektra Theatre which was constructed especially for the show.

Renowned musical theatre composer/lyricist, Scott Alan and Broadway star, Caissie Levy, perform music from Scott's extensive original songbook and share the inspiration and stories behind them. The production is a departure from what audiences may already be familiar with-the original staging and choreography by the show's creator, Michael Bennett. Featuring brand new choreography, Robin envisions a fresh take on the production.
Tribes celebrated its Opening Night on Sunday, March 10 at the Mark Taper Forum. Written by Nina Raine, the CTG and Barrow Street Theatre production is directed by David Cromer in the play's West Coast Premiere. Miscast 2013 honored Tony Award winner Judith Light (Other Desert Cities) for her illustrious screen and stage career (appearing on Broadway this year for her third straight season, this time in Richard Greenberg's upcoming The Assembled Parties), her work with MCC Theater (acclaimed performances in Colder Than Here and Wit), and her impassioned advocacy of several causes, including Arts in Education.
