One of Bruce Springsteen's longtime Asbury Park buddies is Southside Johnny. He had the same commitment to music as Bruce and recorded 'The Fever' which Bruce wrote and gave to his friend Johnny to record. It was on this song that Johnny built his rock career which includes his hits 'I Don't Want To Go Home', 'All I Want Is Everything', 'Havin' A Party' and, of course, 'The Fever'. Southside Johnny & the Asbury Jukes will bring their rockin' party to The Ridgefield Playhouse on Friday, June 17, at 8 p.m. With his eight-piece band, Southside Johnny has recorded twenty albums and performed in thousands of live sold-out shows around the globe in a career that spans more than three decades. MEMPHIS collaborators Joe DiPietro and David Bryan shared the spotlight on Wednesday, April 6 at Sirius/XM's Live on Broadway radio show hosted by Seth Rudetsky. The Tony Award winning duo spoke with Rudetsky about their upcoming project now in the works; a musical about a group of songwriters during the early 1960's working in New York City's historic Brill Building.
