Don Rickles Receives 'Johnny Carson Award' at THE COMEDY AWARDS, Airing Tonight, 5/6

THE COMEDY AWARDS, the annual event dedicated to honoring and celebrating the world of comedy, honored legendary comedian Don Rickles as the recipient of the prestigious 'Johnny Carson Award For Comedic Excellence' at this year's ceremony in April. 'The Daily Show's' Jon Stewart presented the prestigious award.

The Ensemble Studio Theatre will honor two of its most distinguished members, the acclaimed actress Lois Smith and two-time Board chair G.H. 'Denny' Denniston, Jr with its 2012 Distinguished Member Award at a "Fun-Raiser" benefit celebration Monday evening, May 14, at 6:45pm at SIR Stage 37, 508 West 37th Street. Tickets are $350. PBS to Present JOHNNY CARSON: KING OF LATE NIGHT Documentary, 5/14

Two-time Emmy®-winning filmmaker Peter Jones explores his life, career, complexities, and contradictions in the two-hour documentary American Masters JOHNNY CARSON: KING OF LATE NIGHT premiering nationally Monday, May 14, 2012 at 9 pm (ET) on PBS (check local listings). 2012 marks the 50th anniversary of Carson taking over The Tonight Show from Jack Paar and the 20th anniversary of his retirement.

FEINSTEIN'S AT LOEWS REGENCY continues its Spring 2012 season with the return engagement of Grammy Award nominated singer and entertainer MARILYN MAYE. Her new show - "The Happiest Sound In Town" - is her annual birthday celebration and features some of her most-requested numbers including "Guess Who I Saw Today," "Bye Bye Country Boy," "Rain" and "Golden Rainbow." Another highlight of the show, "Come In From The Rain," was a personal favorite of Johnny Carson; Maye performed it many times on "The Tonight Show" at his personal invitation. Maye's recent local appearances have been received with rave reviews and full houses. The show runs through Saturday, May 5 at the Loews Regency Hotel (540 Park Avenue at 61st Street). Letterman, Ferguson to Remain at CBS Through 2014
