Jason Alexander, PETER AND THE STARCATCHER, Complexions Ballet and More Set for Harris Center's 2013-14 Season

Bringing artists from all over the world, and from most every genre, the Harris Center for the Arts at Folsom Lake College - formerly known as Three Stages at Folsom Lake College - will offer literally hundreds of performances in 2013-14. Beginning in late July, 2013 and extending into spring 2014, the new season includes world-class performers like Kenny Loggins, Seinfeld's Jason Alexander, and Savion Glover; Broadway productions such as Peter and the Starcatcher, The Addams Family and Bring It On: The Musical (all of which are appearing in the capital region for the first time ever); and an unprecedented season of dance in Folsom which kicks off with Alonzo King LINES Ballet and also features Complexions Contemporary Ballet, Bellydance Superstars, Ballroom with a Twist, and return visits of the popular Moscow Festival Ballet's Swan Lake and Diavolo Dance Theatre; and many more, all on the stages at the Harris Center.
Katrina Rouge Productions to Debut DAY AND NIGHT at MadLab, 9/19-28

For its inaugural production Katrina Rouge Productions will present the world premiere of Day and Night by local playwright Chris Morris. This play was given a staged reading in 2009 at MadLab Theatre here in Columbus Ohio, but this will be the first full production given to this work. Day and Night will be performed, at 8:00, Thursdays-Saturdays, September 19-21 and September 26-28 at MadLab, 227 N. 3rd St. Columbus, OH.

Legendary actor/comedian Don Rickles will be honored with the Friars Club's Lifetime Achievement Award for Comedy at a star-studded awards gala which will be held on Monday, June 24, 2013 at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New York. Among those scheduled to participate in honoring Rickles through their songs or words will be Bob Costas, Tony Danza, Kathy Griffin, Diana Krall, John Mayer, Bob Newhart, Regis Philbin, Joan Rivers and Bob Saget.

AXS TV will broadcast Barclaycard presents British Summer Time Hyde Park exclusively in North America with performances from Bon Jovi, Elton John And His Band, Lionel Richie, and Jennifer Lopez, it was jointly announced today by AEG Live UK, The Royal Parks and AXS TV. The television concert event will air Saturday July 13 and Sunday July 14 from Hyde Park in London and will also feature Gary Clark, Jr. among other artists to be announced.
