Money Lab is an economic vaudeville, a multi-disciplinary experiment to discover whether economic ideas can be represented through performance. It uses a mixture of theater, dance, video, music, clowning and games in order to explore everything from the darker predictions of Malthus, to the 2008 stock market collapse, to the economic cost of being an artist. Developed with the help of a crew of artists and economists, this project will culminate with a four-day performance workshop at The Brick Theater in Brooklyn.

Davies rise to the upper echelon of blues music started at an early age as she absorbed the music heard constantly in her home. Her (professional) musician parents were either sitting at the piano or spinning discs on their turntable, filling the air with the sounds of big band jazz, harmony vocal groups, or the pop icons of the day. But the young Davies was particularly attracted to the bluesier sounds of her father's Ray Charles records, and by the age of 12 realized that her affinity for an instrument was not for the piano, but for the guitar.

For the first time since 2011, rock band Avenged Sevenfold will head out on the road for the Hail to the King Tour and make its final stop at the Mandalay Bay Events Center Saturday, Oct. 26. Touring with the band are special guests Deftones and Ghost B.C. The tour comes in support of Avenged Sevenfold's upcoming sixth studio album, Hail to the King.

This year The New York Comedy Festival (NYCF), presented in association with COMEDY CENTRAL, marks its 10th anniversary Wednesday, November 6 through Sunday, November 10. The festival will once again bring laughs to all the boroughs in New York City, and adding several new venues. The 2013 festival line-up will be announced in August, at which time tickets will also go on sale. Additional shows will be added in the fall.

Bringing the ultimate guitar concert featuring the most legendary guitarists in the world to select U.S. movie theaters, NCM Fathom Events and Crossroad Concerts LLC present 'Eric Clapton's Crossroads Guitar Festival 2013' on Tuesday, Aug. 13 at 7:30 p.m. (local time). This special, one-night event will feature the best performances and backstage access from Clapton's Crossroads Guitar Festival pre-recorded over two nights at Madison Square Garden this past April. Tickets for the live concert sold out within minutes of going on sale, but fans can experience one of the hottest events of the year from their local theater as Clapton gathers his most respected colleagues in the music industry for a jam session. The live concert and portions from the cinema event benefit the Crossroads Centre, a treatment and education facility for chemically dependent people, based in Antigua and founded by Clapton.

Kicking off in the City of Brotherly Love, The Philly 4 th of July Jam, a signature event of the Wawa Welcome America! festival, will be simulcast on VH1 and Palladia tonight, July 4 from 8-11PM ET and live streamed on VH1.com.
