Los Angeles' reigning Pumpkin King, Danny Elfman, will return to the Hollywood Bowl on Friday and Saturday, October 26 & 27 at 8:00 pm performing his role of Jack Skellington singing live to film for a very special screening of Disney's timeless holiday classic, Tim Burton's 'The Nightmare Before Christmas' for the film's 25th anniversary. 2018 is the 100th anniversary of the birth of Leonard Bernstein. Sydney Philharmonia Choirs will acknowledge thissignificant anniversary by participating in the global celebrations to honour Bernstein's legacy, with two planned performances of the choral masterpiece, Candide (1956) on Saturday 29th September and Sunday 30th September 2018 at the Sydney Opera House.

This March, Anne-Sophie Mutter returns to the United States with her longtime collaborator pianist Lambert Orkis in a recital tour celebrating the 85th birthday of Krzysztof Penderecki. The two-date tour begins on Friday, March 2 at 7:30 PM in Weill Hall at the Green Music Center in Rohnert Park, CA. Mutter and Orkis then travel to Carnegie Hall for the second recital on Sunday, March 4 at 2:00 PM in Stern Auditorium, which will feature the world premiere of Andre Previn's The Fifth Season for Violin and Piano.
