Maroon 5 to Perform Hit Single Featuring Kendrick Lamar at 2016 American Music Awards'

dick clark productions and ABC announced today that pop music superstars Maroon 5 will be joined by platinum-selling artist Kendrick Lamar to perform their hit single, “Don't Wanna Know,” together for the first time on national television during the T-Mobile Finale at the “2016 American Music Awards.” They join hosts Gigi Hadid and Jay Pharoah, as well as previously announced performers, including James Bay, Fifth Harmony, Lady Gaga, Green Day, John Legend, Bruno Mars, Shawn Mendes, Twenty One Pilots, The Weeknd, special duets from The Chainsmokers and Halsey, and Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj, and “The American Music Award of Merit” honoree and performer Sting. The “2016 American Music Awards,” the world's biggest fan-voted award show, will broadcast live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 20, at 8:00 p.m. EST on ABC.

Michael Lynton, CEO of Sony Entertainment, today announced that Sony Music Entertainment CEO Doug Morris will transition from the operational management of Sony Music Entertainment and assume the role of Chairman in April 2017. Rob Stringer, currently Chairman and CEO of Columbia Records, will become CEO of Sony Music Entertainment. He will have overall operational responsibility for Sony Music Entertainment globally. He will report directly to Lynton.
