According to People.com, Kelsey Grammer, who is currently starring on Broadway in LA CAGE AUX FOLLES, is engaged to flight attendant Kayte Walsh. Grammer's rep told People, 'Yes, they're engaged. They're very happy and very much in love. They never announced it because he wanted to be discreet and enjoy the good news privately.'

According to Deadline.com, Starz has picked up the political drama Boss for eight episodes. The show will star La Cage's Kelsey Grammer and will be written by Farhad Safinia. Gus Van Sant will act as executive producer, as well as the director for the series' pilot episode.

According to a report by EW.com, John Larroquette will be guest starring on CSI: NY. Larroquette recently starred in Oliver Parker Off-Broadway. His television credits include: Boston Legal, The Practice, The John Larroquette Show, and Night Court.

During my first theater job in New York, I was asked to go to a reading of a play called The Mistakes Madeleine Made, by Elizabeth Meriwether. The play - about a young woman facing family tragedy and a fear of cleanliness -- ended up being produced by Naked Angels, and I've remembered it fondly for years because I enjoyed it so much. It was dark, but funny; deeply disturbed ideas somehow created infectious laughter, and it didn't feel gimmicky for a second. There was something paradoxical about how grounded Meriwether's writing made the zany premise of the story feel - and it worked. I looked forward to seeing her future endeavors.

The event is the being held at Paper Mill Playhouse on May 6th from 4 - 9pm. The event is free but registration is required.
