The Boston Pops and Ann Hampton Callaway Set for The Adrienne Arsht Center

The Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County will present the BOSTON POPS, under the baton of KEITH LOCKHART, with special guest star ANN HAMPTON CALLAWAY in a thrilling tribute to the music of the legendary Barbra Streisand and an homage to the best of Broadway. This engagement marks the finale of the 2012-2013 Knight Masterworks Season Pops Series on March 5, 2013 at 7:30 p.m. in the John S. and James L. Knight Concert Hall.

And the World Goes Round by Kander & Ebb is a revue incorporating a compilation of their greatest hits and is often performed straight out with no frills or dramatic re-imaginings of any kind. Performers stand and sing center stage , and that's it. There have been two inventive productions within the last six months, one at the Actors co-op directed by Robert Marra and now this newest production at NoHo Arts directed by Gary Lee Reed, which is truly a labor of love from top to bottom.

FREUD'S LAST SESSION, the runaway hit play by Mark St. Germain, will end its triumphant limited engagement this Sunday, February 10th at The Broad Stage in Santa Monica. Starring Judd Hirsch as Sigmund Freud and Tom Cavanagh as C. S. Lewis, FREUD'S LAST SESSION is directed by Tyler Marchant, who helmed the original New York production. The show's west coast premiere is presented by The Broad Stage & Carolyn Rossi Copeland, Robert Stillman and Jack Thomas.

Porchlight Music Theatre has announced its spring special events for 2013. The ICONS Gala, Celebrating the Art of Bob Fosse, takes place Sunday, April 7, 11 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. in the Moulin Rouge Room at The Fairmont Hotel, 200 N. Columbus Dr. The ICONS Gala includes performances from iconic Fosse works and the presentation of the 2013 Guy Adkins Award for Excellence in the Advancement of Music Theatre in Chicago to one of Chicago's music masters, Doug Peck. Chicago Sings Kander and Ebb, takes place Monday, May 20 at 7 p.m. at the Mayne Stage, 1328 W. The Dramatists Guild of America Reschedules Annual Awards Ceremony to Tuesday, February 26

The Dramatists Guild of America has rescheduled their awards ceremony, postponed due to Hurricane Sandy, to Tuesday, February 26, 2013, at The Lambs Club in New York. The awards ceremony will be hosted by Lisa Kron and will feature a performance by Kenita Miller.

Tennessee Rep Adds Performances for CABARET

Due to popular demand, Tennessee Repertory Theatre has extended its production of the multiple Tony Award-winning musical Cabaret with book and lyrics by Joe Masteroff and Fred Ebb and music by John Kander. Performances have been added through Saturday, March 16. Tickets for the added performances will go on sale Tuesday, February 5 at 10 am. Cabaret runs February 16 - March 16 at TPAC's Johnson Theater (with preview performances February 14 - 15).
