Blake Robison, a highly accomplished director and producer, has been named the next artistic director of the two-time Tony Award-winning Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park in a unanimous vote by the Playhouse's board of trustees.
The newly imagined Broadway production of ON A CLEAR DAY YOU CAN SEE FOREVER starring Grammy and Emmy Award winner and Tony Award nominee Harry Connick, Jr. will open on Sunday, December 11, 2011 at The St James Theatre. According to the NY Times, Jessie Muellerwill star opposite Harry Connick, Jr. as Melinda Wells in the revival. Additionally, David Turner, will play gay florist David Gamble in the production.

Book-It Repertory Theatre finishes off their 20th anniversary season by revisiting one of their earlier works, "The Cider House Rules, Part One: Here in St. Clouds" based on the novel by John Irving. And while only half of the story is represented here, the show is a fully realized and wondrous piece of theater.
The Cider House Rules has a special place in Book-It's history as the first full-length novel adapted in the Book-It StyleTM, and as a turning-point undertaking that helped the once fledgling company establish itself firmly in the Seattle theatre community.
