Jessie Mueller, David Turner Join Cast of ON A CLEAR DAY

The newly imagined Broadway production of ON A CLEAR DAY YOU CAN SEE FOREVER starring Grammy and Emmy Award winner and Tony Award nominee Harry Connick, Jr. will open on Sunday, December 11, 2011 at The St James Theatre. According to the NY Times, Jessie Muellerwill star opposite Harry Connick, Jr. as Melinda Wells in the revival. Additionally, David Turner, will play gay florist David Gamble in the production.

ON A CLEAR DAY YOU CAN SEE FOREVER Launches Website!

The newly imagined Broadway production of ON A CLEAR DAY YOU CAN SEE FOREVER starring Grammy and Emmy Award winner and Tony Award nominee Harry Connick, Jr. will open on Sunday, December 11, 2011 at The St James Theatre. Previews are set to begin on November 12, 2011. The delightful Tony Award nominated score by Burton Lane (music) and Alan Jay Lerner (lyrics) is enhanced by classics from their film scores for On A Clear Day You Can See Forever (1970) and Royal Wedding (1951). With a new book by Peter Parnell based on the original book by Alan Jay Lerner, the musical is reconceived and directed by Tony Award winner Michael Mayer.

Roundabout Theatre Company's (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director) critically acclaimed Broadway production of Oscar Wilde's comedy The Importance of Being Earnest, directed by and starring Brian Bedford, will be filmed live with multiple high definition cameras during public performances on March 11 and 12, 2011 at the American Airlines Theatre (227 West 42nd St.).

BWW Reviews: THE CIDER HOUSE RULES, PART TWO at Book-It

Book-It Repertory Theatre is presenting the second half of their outstanding rendition of John Irving's classic novel with "The Cider House Rules, Part Two: In Other Parts of the World". And it's no surprise that this production is just as stellar as its predecessor and perhaps even more so.

September im Pfauen ihre zweite Spielzeit als Künstlerische Direktorin am Schauspielhaus Zürich. „Fegefeuer in Ingolstadt', ein Stück über zwei jugendliche Aussenseiter im 'Fegefeuer' einer bigotten provinziellen Kleinstadt, begründete Marieluise Fleissers Ruhm. Eine ganze Generation von Autoren sah in ihr ein literarisches Vorbild, Elfriede Jelinek nennt sie „ die „grösste Dramatikerin des 20. Jahrhunderts'. Mit „Fegefeuer in Ingolstadt' wird erstmals ein Stück von Marieluise Fleisser am Schauspielhaus Zürich gezeigt.

Mayer-Helmed ON A CLEAR DAY Heads to the Vineyard in Jan. 2011

Following a developmental workshop at the Vineyard in the fall of 2009 and a series of concert readings this summer by New York Stage and Film Company and the Powerhouse Program at Vassar, the musical ON A CLEAR DAY YOU CAN SEE FOREVER - with lyrics by Alan Jay Lerner, music by Burton Lane, a new book by Peter Parnell based on the original book by Alan Jay Lerner, and reconceived and directed by Michael Mayer - will receive a full production at the Vineyard Theatre (108 East 15th Street) with performances beginning January 2011, it has been announced by Vineyard Theatre Artistic Director Douglas Aibel.

Book-It Repertory Theatre finishes off their 20th anniversary season by revisiting one of their earlier works, "The Cider House Rules, Part One: Here in St. Clouds" based on the novel by John Irving. And while only half of the story is represented here, the show is a fully realized and wondrous piece of theater.

The company is thrilled to celebrate its 20th Anniversary season with both Parts One and Two of The Cider House Rules. The Cider House Rules, Part One: Here in St. Clouds plays on Book-It Repertory Theatre's stage at the Center House Theatre June 9 to July 11, 2010. Part Two will take the stage to open the company's 2010-11 season next September.
