Rogue Machine presents Los Angeles Premiere of DYING CITY by Christopher Shinn, opening May 18, 2013 with reception to follow. The production runs 5pm Saturdays, 7pm Sundays, and 8pm Mondays through July 8, 2013, with Memorial weekend performances on May 23rd at 8pm and Sunday, May 26th at 7pm (No performance on June 24th).

The 2013 Tommy Tune Awards winners have been announced! To a crowd of more than 2,500 people, Theatre Under The Stars (TUTS) declared the winners of TUTS' eleventh annual Tommy Tune Awards on the evening of Tuesday, April 16, at the Hobby Center for the Performing Arts. Adding extra excitement to the evening, the award ceremony's namesake and nine-time Tony Award winner Tommy Tune made a special appearance to kick off the show and to present the night's top honor.

Walking into Sarofim Hall, the energy in the room was palpable. The electricity of excitement and sheer nerves ricocheted off the walls of the auditorium, and erupted into cheers as the lights dimmed and the TONY's-inspired awards show began.

Whales explores the latest research about these marine mammals as well as the central role they have played for thousands of years in human cultures. From the traditions of New Zealand's Maori whale riders and the Kwakwaka'wakw peoples of the Pacific Northwest to the international whaling industry and the rise of laws protecting whales from commercial hunting, the exhibition traces the close connections humans and whales have shared for centuries.

Seen for the first time on the West Coast, OBIE Award winning playwright Samuel D. Hunter's A BRIGHT NEW BOISE (Drama Desk Award nomination, LA Times-Critic's Choice, LA Weekly-PICK OF THE WEEK) will be extending through December 17th at Rogue Machine.

Due to the effects of Hurricane Sandy and the current lack of power at UNDER St. Marks Horse Trade Theater Group has been forced to postpone their First Annual Gotham Storytelling Festival for November 7-12. Unfortunately due to outstanding conflicts Ophira Eisenberg, Real Characters, and Blaise Allysen Kearsley's How I Learned will not be appearing in this year's festival as previously scheduled.

Horse Trade Theater Group (Heidi Grumelot, Artistic Director, Erez Ziv, Managing Director) will present the First Annual Gotham Storytelling Festival; collecting some of the best shows curated and produced by Horse Trade Artistic Director Heidi Grumelot and resident hosts Peter Aguero, Seth Lind and Adam Wade.
