In a rare, if not unprecedented move, theatergoers can bid for their own, private performance of a new musical, DAYS AND NIGHTS: TWO CHEKHOVIAN INTERLUDES being presented this fall at La Mama ETC (74A E. 4 St.) in New York City from September 17 to October 4.

After sold-out performances of George Gershwin Alone and Monsieur Chopin, award-winning performer Hershey Felder returns to The Cleveland Play House with the culmination of his Composer Sonata trilogy Beethoven, As I Knew Him.

After sold-out performances of George Gershwin Alone and Monsieur Chopin, award-winning performer Hershey Felder returns to The Cleveland Play House with the culmination of his Composer Sonata trilogy Beethoven, As I Knew Him.

Eighty-Eight Entertainment, Samantha F. Voxakis and Lee Kaufman present Hershey Felder's COMPOSER SONATA at Drury Lane Water Tower Place from November 13th through December 31st in a strictly limited engagement culminating in a special New Year's Eve Presentation of Hershey Felder's The Great American Song Book Sing-A-Long. These tour-de-force presentations, Beethoven, As I Knew Him; Monsieur Chopin and George Gershwin Alone; as well as The Great American Song Book Sing-A-Long, are written and performed by Hershey Felder and directed by Joel Zwick.

AESCLEPIUS -- the first known play to tell the story of the ancient Greek god of medicine and healing -- featuring an international cast from the acclaimed Great Jones Repertory Company, presented by La MaMa E.T.C., at the La MaMa E.T.C. Annex (66 East 4th Street) in Manhattan.

La MaMa E.T.C. presents Ellen Stewart's world-premiere play AESCULAPIUS -- the first known play to tell the story of the ancient Greek god of medicine and healing -- featuring an international cast from the acclaimed Great Jones Repertory Company at La MaMa E.T.C. Annex (66 East 4th Street) in Manhattan, with previews beginning May 28, prior to an official press opening Sunday, May 31. Conceived, written, and directed by the legendary Ellen Stewart, AESCULAPIUS tells how the son of sun god Apollo and mortal maiden Coronis transcends to his rightful place in the heavens because of his great work in medicine. It is believed that Aesculapius' story has never before been told on stage.

Producer David Shor has announced he is developing Sleepless in Seattle-The Musical through his entity Sleepless in Seattle Management, LLC. Shor acquired the rights to produce a play based on the hit TriStar motion picture and has brought in his longtime partner Jeff Arch, who penned the film's original story and co-wrote the screenplay, sharing 1994 Oscar, BAFTA and WGA nominations with Nora Ephron and David Ward. Arch will write the book for the show.

There's something to sing about - and laugh about - during The Laguna Playhouse's 2009-2010 Mainstage season, which includes five fantastic plays beginning this summer with the musical revue My Way: A Musical Tribute to Frank Sinatra. Other plays on the season include the comedy Moonlight and Magnolias, the holiday hit The Winter Wonderettes, and the stellar musical showpiece Hershey Felder as George Gershwin Alone.

Hershey Felder's Beethoven, As I Knew Him extends one week due to audience demand. Originally set to close the final week of September, Felder's Beethoven will now close with the 7pm performance onSunday, October 5. La MaMa E.T.C. presents Ellen Stewart's new adaptation of THE RAVEN, an American-premiere musical based on the rarely seen play by 18th-century Italian writer Carlo Gozzi (TURANDOT, THE GREEN BIRD), featuring an international cast from the acclaimed Great Jones Repertory Company at La MaMa E.T.C. Annex (66 East 4th Street) in Manhattan, with previews beginning June 12, prior to an official press opening Sunday, June 15.
