The Civic Center of Greater Des Moines announced today three established Broadway performers will act as instructors in the Civic Center's first musical theater camp of the summer, STAGERIGHT BROADWAY EXPERIENCE taking place June 27-July 1 at the Civic Center.

Now celebrating its 33rd year, the annual Museum Mile Festival (www.museummilefestival.org) takes place rain or shine on Tuesday, June 14, 2011, from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Over 1.5 million people have taken part in this annual celebration since its inception. Nominations in 26 competitive categories for the American Theatre Wing's 65th Annual Antoinette Perry 'Tony' Awards were announced May 3, 2011 by Tony Award winning actor Matthew Broderick and Tony Award winning actress Anika Noni Rose, at the Tony Award Nominations Announcement sponsored by IBM.

The Tony Awards will be broadcast live, from the Beacon Theatre on CBS, Sunday, June 12th, 8:00 - 11:00 p.m. (ET/PT time delay). The 2011 Tony Awards are presented by the Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing. As previously reported, the cast of PRISCILLA QUEEN OF THE DESERT will be performing the show stopper 'It's Raining Men' at the Tony Awards ceremony on Sunday, June 12. The performance will be broadcast as part of the ceremony on CBS.
