Sutton Foster Takes ANYTHING GOES Hiatus in Nov. for TV Pilot; Stephanie J. Block Steps in

Roundabout Theatre Company has announced Stephanie J. Block will join the Tony Award winning company of Anything Goes performing the role of 'Reno Sweeney' while Sutton Foster is filming a television pilot for 2-3 weeks in November. Roundabout's SONS OF THE PROPHET Opens Tomorrow Night

Tomorrow night is the official opening of Roundabout Theatre Company's New York Premiere of Stephen Karam's new play Sons of the Prophet, directed by Peter DuBois. The cast features Yusef Bulos (Bill), Jonathan Louis Dent (Vin), Santino Fontana (Joseph), Joanna Gleason (Gloria), Lizbeth Mackay (Mrs. McAndrew), Dee Nelson (Dr. Manor), Chris Perfetti (Charles), Charles Socarides (Timothy).

BroadwayWorld has learned that Anything Goes star Joel sustained a minor fracture in his left foot while walking around New York City. His doctors expect him to make a full recovery in two weeks and he is expected to return to the production as soon as he is able. Robert Creighton will perform the role of 'Moonface Martin' until Joel's return.

The Suburban Players Seek Actors for GEORGE M!, 11/5 & 7

The Suburban Players will hold auditions for their 37th annual dinner theatre production. This year, the group will presenting the musical comedy 'George M!' featuring Gary Dieter in the title role. Auditions are being held on Saturday, November 5, 2011 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM and Monday, November 7, 2011 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Saint Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 2504 Cub Hill Road in the Carney area of Baltimore County. No appointment is necessary.
