Roundabout Theatre Company has announced that critically acclaimed Broadway actress Rachel York will star as "Reno Sweeney" in the national tour of the 2011 Tony® Award winning Anything Goes. Presented by Roundabout Theatre Company, the national tour will set sail in Cleveland this fall. Anything Goes is the winner of three Tony® Awards including Best Musical Revival.
Viewers nationwide can now sample the series premieres of the hit SHOWTIME returning series THE BORGIAS, Nurse Jackie and THE BIG C, two weeks before they premiere on the network. The premiere episodes can be accessed on the SHOWTIME website www.sho.com/preview, on YouTube www.youtube.com/SHOWTIME, and via select television providers' free On Demand channels and websites, reaching over 40 million digital households across 26 distributors. With honors ranging from the Rock'n'Roll Hall of Fame to the Tony Awards, Broadway's best performers gathered last night, February 27, to raise awareness of the rare disease, pulmonary fibrosis, and honor the memory of Associated Press theater critic, Michael Kuchwara (today would have been Kuchwara's 65th Birthday). Hosted by award-winning actress and devoted Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation (PFF) advocate Julie Halston, Broadway Belts for PFF! returned to Birdland in New York City for a second successful year. The event raised almost $50,000 to benefit the Foundation.
