TV: Joel Grey, Liza Minnelli, and More Talk CABARET at 40th Anniversary Restoration Screening!

Turner Classic Movies (TCM) continues its latest Road to Hollywood tour around the country with a stop in New York City, where TCM, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment and Verizon FiOS will present a free public screening of the groundbreaking musical Cabaret (1972). Four of the film's stars - Liza Minnelli, Joel Grey, Michael York and Marisa Berenson - joined TCM host Robert Osborne on stage to introduce the 40th anniversary restoration of the film. The event was held last night, Jan. 31, 2013, at Manhattan's famous Ziegfeld Theatre, where Cabaret first premiered. BroadwayWorld's Richard Ridge was there for the festivities and he chatted with the film's stars and other guests on the red carpet. Check out what they had to say below!

Live From Lincoln Center's winter and spring broadcast season kicks off with a special concert from Lincoln Center's 2013 American Songbook series celebrating the legendary songwriting duo of John Kander and Fred Ebb. The broadcast, "RingThem Bells! Rob Fisher Celebrates Kander & Ebb," is hosted by Audra McDonald and will air on PBS stations on Friday, February 15, 2013, at 9 p.m. (ET) (check local listings).

Making it on Broadway is one thing - but staying on Broadway is quite another. Four Broadway legends - Joel Grey, Barbara Cook, Sheldon Harnick and Mary Rodgers - visit 92Y on Monday, Jan. 21 to share unique and intimate insights on how they endured as entertainers over the long haul, and how they remain active and relevant in their octogenarian years. The talk, moderated by WNYC's Leonard Lopate, is part of 92Y's ongoing "Relevant Octogenarians" series. It also includes Dennis S. Charney, M.D., Dean of Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and co-author of the new book, Resilience. Dan Kaplan, former 92Y Board Chairman and President who has produced many 92Y galas, is the event's producer and the creator of the "Relevant Octogenarians" series.

Happy Birthday Laura Osnes! Osnes made her Broadway debut in the 2007 revival of Grease. On March 10, 2009 Osnes took over the role of Ensign Nellie Forbush from Tony Award nominee Kelli O'Hara, who went on maternity leave, in the Lincoln Center Theater Broadway revival of South Pacific. She then starred as Hope Harcourt, alongside Sutton Foster and Joel Grey, in the Broadway revival of Anything Goes. Osnes then played Bonnie Parker opposite Jeremy Jordan in Bonnie & Clyde, which opened at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre in 2011. She will soon lead the upcoming revival of Cinderella.

CHAPLIN is a new musical depicting the life of film icon Charlie Chaplin, with music and lyrics by Christopher Curtis and book by three-time Tony Award-winner Thomas Meehan and Christopher Curtis, opened on Broadway on Monday, September 10, 2012. Previews began Tuesday, August 21, 2012. Warren Carlyle directs and choreographs the production. Joel Grey just visited the production and you can check out photos of him with the cast below!
