Encompass New Opera Theatre (Nancy Rhodes, Artistic Director) and Gala Honorary Chairs Sheldon Harnick, Charles Strouse, and Maury Yeston will honor legendary Broadway performer BARBARA COOK - on the exact day of her 88th Birthday - and lyricist LEE ADAMS (Bye Bye Birdie, Golden Boy, Applause)  with a star-studded musical salute on Sunday, October 25.

Daniel C. Levine has taken his Broadway background and is helping bring Broadway to Ridgefield, CT. Levine is currently the Artistic Director of The Ridgefield Playhouse Broadway & Cabaret Series and is looking to bring Broadway to this Connecticut community.

Salty Brine announces the premiere of a new a cappella cabaret, Givin' Up Your Heart, as the next installment in his series, Salty Brine's Spectacular Living Record Collection Cabaret.  Salty Brine's Spectacular Living Record Collection Cabaret, which performs on Wednesdays as part of Brine's residency at The Red Room (85 E. 4th St.), explores a different iconic album each month in a live cabaret setting.  Givin' Up Your Heart, inspired by Adele's hit album 21, will run on October 7, 14, 21 and 28 with doors opening at 7:30pm and shows beginning at 8:00pm.

From his history making performance on Broadway as the original Master of Ceremonies in CABARET, to his wonderful portrayal of the Wizard of Oz in WICKED - and more recently, back on Broadway in ANYTHING GOES, Joel Grey has entertained audiences for more than 60 years.

Creighton, one of the busiest actors working in the musical theater, will sing his favorite music from the early decades of the 20th Century, along with his original songs.

Beginning last night, August 25, American Ballet Theatre principal dancer Misty Copeland made her Broadway debut as 'Ivy Smith' in the Tony Award nominated revival of On The Town, continuing in the role through the end of the musical's run on September 6.
