Only Make Believe is thrilled to announce that Bethenny Frankel will be honored with the Sir Ian McKellen Award for her global philanthropic work for families in crisis through her B Strong Disaster Relief charity as well as Tony Winning playwright / lyricist/ composer Joe DiPietro with the Founder's Award for his for tireless commitment to OMB for 19 years and OMB's first partner facility The Rusk Institute of Rehabilitation at NYU Langone with the OMB Star Award at 'Make Believe On Broadway' on Monday, November 5th at the Schoenfeld Theatre hosted by the hilarious RACHEL DRATCH. Full Casting Announced For The UK Premiere Of Joel Drake Johnson's RASHEEDA SPEAKING

Troupe today announces full casting for the UK premiere of Joel Drake Johnson's tense workplace drama Rasheeda Speaking. Sheila Reid (Rose Saunders) and Bo Poraj (Dr David Williams) complete the company with the previously announced Elizabeth Berrington (Ileen Van Meter) and Tanya Moodie (Jaclyn Spaulding). Directed by Jonathan O'Boyle the production opens at Trafalgar Studios 2 on 20 April, with previews from 18 April, and runs until 12 May.

Towne Street Theatre Announces Fall 2016 Events

Towne Street Theatre, L.A.'s premiere African-American theatre company, is proud to share its upcoming fall events at the Stella Adler Theatre in Hollywood. From now through Oct. 23rd is the memory play "PassingSOLO" about two black women in 1920s Harlem who "pass" as white and the issues that rise from that deceit.   On Oct. 28th Towne Street presents its 'Monologue Slam' and competition. On Oct. 29th is "Stand-up Stylez Comedy Showcase" featuring both seasoned comedians and new comedic talent.
