The Drama Desk Award-winning Celebrity Autobiography will perform its new edition,Celebrity Autobiography: The Next Chapter on Wednesday, February 15, at 8pm, as a special benefit for SLAM (Sobriety, Learning and Motivation), a board dedicated to the creation of New York's first recovery based high school. Celebrity Autobiography: The Next Chapter performs at the Triad Theater, 158 West 72 Street.

New York Theatre Workshop (NYTW) presents the Broadway-bound world premiere of the new musical Once, which is based on the Academy Award-winning film. Once began previews Tuesday, November 15 and opens tonight, December 6 at New York Theatre Workshop, 79 East 4 Street, between Bowery and Second Avenue. Also revealed tonight are plans for ONCE to open on Broadway, beginning previews at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theater on February 28, 2012, with an opening night set for March 18, 2012.

Playwrights Horizons (Tim Sanford, Artistic Director; Leslie Marcus, Managing Director), Women's Project (Julie Crosby, Producing Artistic Director) and La Jolla Playhouse (Christopher Ashley, Artistic Director; Michael S. Rosenberg, Managing Director) has announced a one-week extension of its critically-acclaimed, sold out New York premiere production of MILK LIKE SUGAR, a new play by Kirsten Greenidge, directed by Rebecca Taichman. Originally set to play a limited engagement through Sunday, November 20, the production extended through Sunday, November 27 at Playwrights Horizons' Peter Jay Sharp Theater (416 West 42nd Street). The additional week represents the only extension possible.

The hit Broadway musical SISTER ACT recently partnered with God's Love We Deliver by outfitting runners for their 18th annual Race To Deliver on November 20th in Central Park. The cast of SISTER ACT also sang the national anthem and were involved with the official Warm-Up for the four mile run. Off-Broadway's Irish Repertory Theatre announces a five-week extension of its hit 20th anniversary production of Brian Friel's Tony Award-winning play DANCING AT LUGHNASA, with performances now set to run through January 15, 2012 on the Irish Repertory's Francis J. Greenburger Mainstage (132 West 22nd Street).

The Tony award-winning Hugh Jackman has returned to Broadway in Hugh Jackman, Back on Broadway at the Broadhurst Theatre. Jackman brings the one-man concert show to New York for a 10-week engagement. Baz Bamingoye reports in today's UK Daily Mail that Tyne Daly, who led the Manhattan Theatre Club's Broadway production of Terrence McNally's Tony Award-winning MASTER CLASS, directed by Stephen Wadsworth which closed on September 4 at MTC's Samuel J. Friedman Theatre (261 West 47th Street) will bring her portrayal to London's West End in 2012.
