Last night, May 29, the John Pizzarelli Quartet and special guest Bucky Pizzarelli visited Cafe Carlyle, where they will play through June 8. Performances take place Tues-Fri at 8:45 p.m. & Saturday at 8:45 p.m. & 10:45 p.m. Cover Tues-Thurs: $90 per person ($50 bar seating; $135 premium seating); Cover Fri-Sat: $100 per person ($50 bar seating; $135 premium seating).

NICE WORK IF YOU CAN GET IT stars two-time Tony Award-winner Matthew Broderick and three-time Tony Award nominee Kelli O'Hara and is directed and choreographed by three-time Tony Award-winner Kathleen Marshall.

The Hangar Theatre's Pilot Reading Series in NYC continues into 2012 with a reading of The Drama Department, a new play by James Hindman. The reading is Monday, January 30th at 7.30pm at The Black Box Theatre on Theatre Row, 410 West 42nd Street (between 9th and 10th Avenue). The reading will be directed by Peter Flynn, the Hangar's Artistic Director.
