The season begins February 18, 2017 with the West Coast Premiere of Collective Rage; a Play in 5 Boops by Jen Silverman, directed by Lindsay Allbaigh. The spring production is the World Premiere of The House in Scarsdale: a memoir for the stage by Dan O'Brien; directed by Michael Michetti. The Main Stage season closes in the fall with a West Coast Premiere of With Love and a Major Organ by Julia Lederer, directed by Jessica Kubzansky. Portland Center Stage at The Armory debuts its new Northwest Stories series with Jeanne Sakata's Hold These Truths, a play inspired by the life of civil rights hero Gordon Hirabayashi, a Seattle native who was posthumously awarded the 2012 Presidential Medal of Freedom. Hold These Truths opens in the Ellyn Bye Studio on October 7, with previews beginning October 1 and performances running through November 13. Hold These Truths will be directed by Jessica Kubzansky, who directed the world premiere at East West Players in Los Angeles. Actor Ryun Yu, who originated the role of Hirabayashi at East West Players, will once again play the role in Portland.

Perry-Mansfield has announced the full lineup for their 2016 New Works Festival. The 19th Annual festival, held on June 10 and 11 in Steamboat Springs, CO will develop five new works in partnership with the Actors Theatre of Louisville, the Denver Center for the Performing Arts (DCPA) Theatre Company, The Lark, Primary Stages, and South Coast Repertory.
