Playwright Terrence McNally's award-winning Broadway resume includes such shows as Ragtime, Kiss of the Spiderwoman and Master Class-to name a few-as well as four Tony and three Drama Desk Awards. Rochester will be the official launch city of the North American Tour of A BRONX TALE with a limited one-week run at RBTL's Auditorium Theatre October 14-21, 2018 as part of the 2018-2019 M&T Bank Broadway Season presented by RBTL and Albert Nocciolino. Longtime comedians Steve Martin and Martin Short will appear at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts for a one night, pavilion-only show today, September 1, 2018. The show, 'An Evening You Will Forget for the Rest of Your Life,' will include stand-up, film clips, musical numbers and conversations about their lives in show business. Martin and Short will be joined by the Grammy Award-winning bluegrass band The Steep Canyon Rangers and renowned jazz pianist and Jimmy Kimmel Live band member Jeff Babko.

New York: For over 50 years TheaterWorksUSA has presented family-friendly adaptations of celebrated books on stages across the country.  This fall, TheaterWorksUSA will be offering its trademark brand of quality entertainment at Long Island's Tilles Center with their new musical Rosie Revere, Engineer & Friends, with a book by Lauren Gunderson, music by Brian Lowdermilk, lyrics by Kait Kerrigan and originally directed by Peter Flynn and choreography by Marcos Santana. Fox Stage Productions and Kevin McCollum have announced the creative team for the new Broadway-bound musical MRS. DOUBTFIRE. Four-time Tony Award Winner Jerry Zaks, (most recently represented on Broadway by the hit revival of Hello, Dolly!) will direct, joined by Tony Award Nominees (for Something Rotten!) John O'Farrell and Karey Kirkpatrick (book) and Karey and Wayne Kirkpatrick (music and lyrics).

The show will have played 29 previews and 700 regular performances at the Longacre Theatre (220 West 48th Street). The show began previews Thursday, November 3, 2016 and opened Thursday, December 1, 2016.
