I walk into the Walter Kerr and the first thing I see is the wreckage. The house on stage looks like hell, graffiti on the walls, doors off their hinges, and the mirror on the door in the bathroom is smashed. Today, tech rehearsal starts early on in Act Two, as the characters try to hash out the socio-political ramifications of the middle-class white couple trying to demolish this formerly beautiful house in a predominately black neighborhood in order to build a larger, more garish model for the family they're trying to start.

Last night, March 12, Robert Redford hosted the first-ever New York benefit celebrating the Sundance Institute Theatre Program at The Bowery Hotel. Participants included Sundance Institute Theatre Program alumni Denis O'Hare (Performance of An Iliad, at New York Theatre Workshop), Lisa Peterson Scott Frankel, Jeanine Tesori, Georgi James and Christine Ebersole, who recreated 'Little Edie Beale' from Grey Gardens. Last night, March 12, Robert Redford hosted the first-ever New York benefit celebrating The Sundance Institute Theatre Program at The Bowery Hotel. Tickets for the Pulitzer Prize-winning play Clybourne Park will be made available to the general public tomorrow, Saturday, March 3. Clybourne Park will open on Broadway at the Walter Kerr Theatre on Thursday, April 19 (preview performances begin on March 26) for a limited 16-week engagement. Jujamcyn Theaters President Jordan Roth announced today that Clybourne Park will open on Broadway at the Walter Kerr Theatre on Thursday, April 19 (preview performances begin on March 26) for a limited 16-week engagement. This is exactly one week later than the originally planned opening, making up for the time that was lost last week. The first preview will be announced at a later date. The original cast of the 2010 world premiere Playwrights Horizons production (Crystal A.
