Cincinnati Shakespeare Announces 25th Anniversary Season

For the twelfth straight year, Cincinnati Shakespeare Company is thrilled to offer a full season of holiday cheer in just 90 minutes with Every Christmas Story Ever Told (And Then Some!) by Michael Carleton, James Fitzgerald, and John K. Alvarez. This hilarious production is a non-stop holiday romp through everyone's favorite Christmas stories performed by just four actors in ninety minutes. Justin McCombs and Billy Chace, who are respectively twelfth-year and eleventh-year company members, return to poke fun at the holiday season, with returning special guest Miranda McGee, eighth-year company member. This year, CSC welcomes Resident Company Member Maggie Lou Rader to the cast for the first time! CSC Director of Creative Education, Jeremy Dubin, returns to the director's chair. This production is one of the most popular events in Cincinnati Shakespeare Company history breaking attendance and sales records every year. Interested in regaining his dukedom, Prospero orchestrates a shipwreck amidst a storm, which open the play.

Cincinnati Shakespeare Company Announces the 2017 PROJECT38 Festival

Cincinnati Shakespeare Company is pleased to continue their groundbreaking arts education initiative titled PROJECT38 with the public FREE PROJECT38 Festival!  CSC teaching artists have spent over 250 hours this school year working with over 1,600 students at more than 45 different schools to bring each of Shakespeare's 38 plays to life in creative ways.  On April 20-23, 2017 all of the Cincinnati community will get to experience these amazing performances at a weekend-long free festival in downtown Cincinnati!  Running from Thursday, April 20 and concluding on Sunday April 23 (Shakespeare's birthday), Memorial Hall will be full of 45 hours of free arts events for the entire community! Additional free Performances and Workshops will occur in Washington Park on Sunday April 23, in celebration of the Bard's birthday. Last year, the PROJECT38 Festival drew over 5,000 people to OTR.

Justin McCombs and Sara Clark, both now eleven-year veterans of the company, return to poke fun at the holiday season, joined by Billy Chace, and tenth-year company member. Miranda McGee, eighth-year company member, returns as a special guest. CSC Artistic Associate, Jeremy Dubin, returns to the director's chair. This production is one of the most popular events in Cincinnati Shakespeare Company history breaking attendance and sales records every year.
