For the twelfth straight year, Cincinnati Shakespeare Company is thrilled to offer a full season of holiday cheer in just 90 minutes with Every Christmas Story Ever Told (And Then Some!) by Michael Carleton, James Fitzgerald, and John K. Alvarez. This hilarious production is a non-stop holiday romp through everyone's favorite Christmas stories performed by just four actors in ninety minutes. Justin McCombs and Billy Chace, who are respectively twelfth-year and eleventh-year company members, return to poke fun at the holiday season, with returning special guest Miranda McGee, eighth-year company member. This year, CSC welcomes Resident Company Member Maggie Lou Rader to the cast for the first time! CSC Director of Creative Education, Jeremy Dubin, returns to the director's chair. Know Theatre's landmark 20th Anniversary Season dives into the fantastical this November with a new stage adaptation of Neil Gaiman's modern classic novel, Neverwhere.

'To be or not to be, that is the question,' says Hamlet in Shakespeare's oft-performed drama. Cincinnati Shakespeare Company chooses to 'be.' Hamlet the artificial pig sits outside the front of the theater inviting patrons into the building.

The Tempest, the last of William Shakespeare's great romances, will close out Cincinnati Shakespeare Company's run at their theater on Race Street. The production, running April 28 - May 20, 2017.

Interested in regaining his dukedom, Prospero orchestrates a shipwreck amidst a storm, which open the play.

Cincinnati Shakespeare Company is pleased to continue their groundbreaking arts education initiative titled PROJECT38 with the public FREE PROJECT38 Festival!  CSC teaching artists have spent over 250 hours this school year working with over 1,600 students at more than 45 different schools to bring each of Shakespeare's 38 plays to life in creative ways.  On April 20-23, 2017 all of the Cincinnati community will get to experience these amazing performances at a weekend-long free festival in downtown Cincinnati!  Running from Thursday, April 20 and concluding on Sunday April 23 (Shakespeare's birthday), Memorial Hall will be full of 45 hours of free arts events for the entire community! Additional free Performances and Workshops will occur in Washington Park on Sunday April 23, in celebration of the Bard's birthday. Last year, the PROJECT38 Festival drew over 5,000 people to OTR.

When their war of wits comes to a head, their friends decide there's only one thing to be done - trick the hapless couple into falling hopelessly in love. They set in motion a series of plots, pranks, plans and ploys all designed to bring the cynical Benedick and spirited Beatrice into a "mountain of affection."
