The New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) has announced the 2013 full productions for its 10th annual festival. This year's Festival will begin July 8th and continue through July 28th. An additional slate of special events, free events, staged readings and several educational panel discussions will be announced shortly.
Celebrating 80 Years, The Bergen County Players (BCP) presents The Music Man, a musical comedy and treasured piece of theater by Meredith Willson. Under the direction of Larry Landsman, The Music Man will be performed at the Little Firehouse Theatre in Oradell from tonight, September 8th through October 6th, 2012. Shows will be on Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm and Sundays at 2pm. Amas Musical Theatre (Donna Trinkoff/Artistic Producer) presents free performances of "Marry Harry", a new musical with book by Jennifer Robbins, music by Dan Martin, lyrics by Michael Biello, directed by Kent Nicholson. The result of a unique collaboration between New York Stage and Film and Vassar College, the program consists of an eight-week residency on the Vassar campus (124 Raymond Avenue, Poughkeepsie, NY) during which more than 200 professional artists and some 40 apprentices live and work together to create new theater works. The 2011 Main Stage season kicks off with Patricia Wettig's F2M (June 29 - July 10).
