Philippine Development Foundation USA (PhilDev), a non-profit organization that supports community and entrepreneurship programs in the Philippines, has just released its promo video for PhilDev Celebrates Broadway: SUITES BY SONDHEIM, a benefit concert at Alice Tully Hall, Lincoln Center on November 7 that will feature Tony Award-winning actress Lea Salonga, and an impressive roster of Filipino-American Broadway stars.

On Saturday, August 20th, East West Players (EWP), the nation's largest producing organization of Asian American artistic work and the longest-running professional theatre of color in the country, will kick off its 46th season with One Night Only: On Broadway.

The stars aligned this past weekend when SNL star Ana Gasteyer made the West Coast debut of her new show 'Elegant Songs from a Handsome Woman' for three nights only at the Catalina Jazz Club in Los Angeles.

EWP is proud to announce the addition of Telly Leung (Rent, Pacific Overtures) to the star-studded line-up. Leung can also be seen on TV in Glee.

"Hamlet" doesn't need to be set in space and "Our Town" without that old time Grover's Corners feel would just be wrong. And don't even get me started on the thought of moving "Oklahoma". But while I appreciated the concept and approach, some of the cast left me wanting.
